If you are trying to install Windows 95 from the upgrade disk, and you don't have another instance of Windows installed, the installation will abort. To install Windows 95 without the full install CD, follow these steps:
1. Open Notepad and copy these two lines into it:
[Setup]
ccp=0
2. Save and name the file 'INST95.TXT' and copy it to the root
directory of your boot drive (default drive is 'C:\')
3. Insert your Windows 95 CD-Rom
4. To install Windows 95, go to the DOS command prompt and run
this command: C:\INST95.TXT
Windows 95 will now install on your computer.
